Having lived in an apartment or condominium most of my life, I can say is the worst, neighbors complained about noise from your home theater or stereo system. For the purposes of this Article, the term "apartment" is also condominiums and home entertainment system "will also include stereo system for playing CDs. Here are some tips I've learned over the years, sound escape your apartment leads the neighbors to minimizecomplain.
Before I continue, unless you have a huge amount of money, there is basically no such thing as sound proofing a room in an apartment. Yes, it can be done but the cost will be from the roof. Will give the advice I'm going to try to minimize the amount of complaints with your neighbors. Some simple common sense advice before we start. I would imagine someone you live directly above you or below you or shares a common wall with you, they give you your phoneNumber and tell them in a friendly way if they ever have a problem with the sound system, just to give you a call. So you at least be in a position to be able to mitigate the problem internally before it escalates to a higher level. I would try not to play loud music / movies before 11.00 clock and clock from 8.00, even if the building is politics and 10.00 clock Clock 10:00, and listen to you, such as wireless headphones 5.1 Pioneer SE-DIR800C Dolby Digital 5.1 Wireless Headphones during other times.
TheMain problem you will have with your neighbors, your subwoofer. The simplest solution is in an apartment on the first floor, as at least relieved to complain of people under you. Failing that does not cooperate or even that I am both an Auralex Gramma Isolation Riser and Mason super buy "W" rubber pads. The Gramma Isolation Riser is basically a platform for your subwoofer, set that somehow provides acoustic isolation and improves the subwoofer sound, without the artificial sounds. In short, it helps to get rid of any boom from the subwoofer, which you do not want. Mason Super "W" rubber pads are a mat of rubber-Platz 2, "Module 3 / 4 inches high, separated by a dense network that the entire mat and / or cut modules use to put your subwoofer. The nature and way I have set my subwoofer is the subwoofer on top of the Gramma Isolation Riser, which above the Mason Super "W" Mat, which is over my carpet. I have the subwoofer back, about 14 to 16 "from the rear wall and theSubwoofer hand, about 14-16 "from the sidewall. I set the subwoofer on the isolation riser, so that the grill is located right on the edge of the riser. The width of the subwoofer to the isolation riser centered. I 've include a photo in one of my websites below.
I would also recommend if you live in an apartment, try the satellite speakers and a powerful receiver. I have established an excellent Orb Audio Mod 1 5.1 speakers and subwoofer, which I love, that seems to play loudVolumes without ear shattering. I have noticed that the more the receiver, is the softer, the actual volume set and not sound as loud to you, but do not make loud in the room.
In relation to the speakers, my advice to you, they have attached to or in close proximity to a wall, but a few inches away and as far as can be from the ceiling and floor, anywhere from around 28 "to 56" or so from the ground, from the bottom of the speaker. I would not put it through the corner –Walls. You can also experiment with and they have cut Mason "W" square modules.
Finally, just use some common sense. Keep the windows closed when you play your home theater system. The best hours to play things will be really loud during the week between 11 AM and 5:00 Clock if the people at work, and 12:00 to 5:00 clock on weekends. Be aware of when playing DVDs, films that with gunfire and explosions tend to play louder then Woody Allen movies and select your volume accordingly!Good luck. You will probably still get complaints, but the amount should be pretty much cut!

The main thing is to get you into a home theater is a place where it feels to be, create a real movie in a cinema. There are different ways to achieve that, depending largely on how much money you have to do spend and what features are most important to you. A good home theater, but should have driven a multiple speaker surround sound system with an audio – video receiver, and a variety of high qualityAudio sources, among others.
All of your audio components are routed through your audio / video receivers, which generally serves as a control center. It decodes the surround information and directs the sound to the speakers. Your audio / video receivers should be enough to process inputs and outputs all the equipment you will find it with the use, as well as optional inputs if you add to a future device like a satellite radio or iPod is a Module.
One of the most importantComponents of your home theater system is your speakers. It only makes sense to the speakers before you buy, listen to them. Good speakers have is a neutral tonal balance (ie, it is no exaggeration to suppress or a certain sound frequencies, but reproduce) the original sound, and a full range of sound (ie they do not lose information at the extreme frequencies, however, all but or nearly all, of the audio spectrum). You should haveClarity, transparency and detail of sounds (ie they provide little fine detail, but their sound is not unnatural to have hard edges), it must be dynamic (ie they should handle well, according moments, but also capture the subtleties should be) of the audio and provide credible three-dimensional soundscapes that take place musicians in specific locations. Your subwoofer should be a bass sound is clear, to produce powerful, deep and prolonged, and should also be seamlessly integrated with the rest of the mixtureSpeaker system. You want to the speakers, which handle the power generated by you choose You're A / V receiver and an attractive appearance, or at least blend in, in your living room.
There are several ways in which your speakers. If your speakers in the wall, the wall or free standing? Be considered to ask yourself how important it is that your speakers are unremarkable (when they look in-the-wall speakers), or add to the appearance of your flat-panelDisplay (if considering on-the-wall) speakers, and what concessions would have to undertake in order to fit free-standing speakers in your room and they outweigh the benefits of free-standing sound speakers.
How should you configure your speakers. There are different types of surround sound systems to choose from. There are Dolby Surround 4.0 with front left, front right, surround, center and mono channels. There are Dolby Digital 5.1, as a rule, the base format now, with the front left andright, center, left and right surround and low frequency effects channels. Reproduce Dolby Digital EX is a 6.1 system but can be, with 5.1, 6.1 or 7.1 speaker systems. 6.1 systems have three surround sound speakers is directly behind the seating area that does not make sense if the seats are on the back wall. With 7.1 speaker systems, you have 2 rear surround speakers behind the room and it sounds better in general.
There are many waysand considerations when considering how to create a home theater that you believe make a movie in a real theater. How do you decide to set up and configure the speaker is one of the most important aspects of your home theater system.
