Skype Video Messaging
Quick access to the menu screen
You can instantly access the Skype menu screen by simply pressing the Skype button on the remote control. This is very handy because it lets you easily access the menu screen even while you’re watching a TV program or movie.
Incoming Ringtones
While watching a TV program or movie, a ringtone from the player tells you that you have a call. The ringtone also rings during standby mode.

Auto Answering Video Message
Record an original message onto an SD Memory Card* and set it as your answering voice message. The message will respond automatically when you receive a phone call while you’re away.

Cinema Surround Plus
The Virtual Speakers created by Cinema Surround compensate for the lack of a surround effect to provide natural, smooth surround sound. Starting with the 2011 models, the same number of Virtual Speakers are arranged in the vertical direction as in the horizontal direction. This offers an enhanced surround effect not only horizontally but also vertically, so you can enjoy your favorite movies with a level of dynamic surround sound that you’ve never before experienced.
Clear Sound Digital Amplifier

You can instantly access the Skype menu screen by simply pressing the Skype button on the remote control. This is very handy because it lets you easily access the menu screen even while you’re watching a TV program or movie.

While watching a TV program or movie, a ringtone from the player tells you that you have a call. The ringtone also rings during standby mode.

Cinema Surround Plus
The Virtual Speakers created by Cinema Surround compensate for the lack of a surround effect to provide natural, smooth surround sound. Starting with the 2011 models, the same number of Virtual Speakers are arranged in the vertical direction as in the horizontal direction. This offers an enhanced surround effect not only horizontally but also vertically, so you can enjoy your favorite movies with a level of dynamic surround sound that you’ve never before experienced.

Clear Sound Digital Amplifier
The Clear Sound Digital Amplifier analyzes the difference between the input and output audio signals, and makes the necessary adjustments to produce an output signal with the same low distortion as the input signal. This results in sound that is highly faithful to the original sound source.
Built-in Wi-Fi System
A Wi-Fi system is built right into the main unit, so you can enjoy VIERA CAST and BD-Live content without having to connect the Blu-ray Disc player with a LAN cable or wireless LAN adaptor.

ARC (Audio Return Channel)
The home theater system is compatible with the ARC (Audio Return Channel) feature. ARC makes it possible to receive audio signals from the TV, on top of the preexisting HDMI function of sending audio/video signals to the TV with just one cable. This feature simplifies connection by eliminating the audio cable connection between the TV audio output and the main unit’s audio input.

VIERA CAST
VIERA CAST has been further enhanced with CinemaNow and VUDU, which allow you to stream movies. You can also access other content from the special VIERA CAST screen. And you can check weather and stock information on other sites.

Paradigm Cinema 70 CT 5.1 Home Theater Surround Sound System (Black) Review
First and foremost I would like to mention that I did not purchase this speaker set from Amazon.com. It is my opinion that a purchase such as this should be made directly at a retailer, or so heavily researched by personal visits to your electronic store of choice to justify purchasing this item through an online retailer. I am in NJ and went to Six Ave after going to Electronic Expo and Best Buy. I bought these same set for 5. The Six Ave salesperson gave me the live demo and his manager lower the price went I told them I was going back to best buy to pick up a set I saw there (I also bought a Yamaha Receiver and two 42 inch TVs so maybe that also influenced his decision in lowering my price).
What I used:
I bought two of these wall mounts the same day of purchase at the retailer mentioned afore: Omnimount Speaker Mount (Black) (STEELBLACK)
I bought a pair of these:
Paradigm LS-30 Floorstanding Speaker Stands (Pair, Black)
Bought some wire:
Monster XPHPCIBIG100 100 Feet Speaker Cable
And a subwoofer cable:
Monster Standard THX-Certified Subwoofer Interconnect Cable (16 Ft)
The install:
The installation was very easy and depends on how handy you are. I put two speakers (the right and left back) high on my wall using the wall mounts. I then placed the channel or center speaker in the bottom shelve closest to my TV. Then I installed the front right and left speakers on the two floor stands (these should be at sitting ear level). Wired all speakers using the speaker cable (TIP: 100ft is really 50feet of positive and 50 feet negative cable). I put my subwoofer by the front right corner of the living room, not too far from the front right speaker.
The experience:
Please keep in mind that that the quality and power of your receiver is the single most important factor in your surround sounds system setup. I am using: Yamaha RX-V565BL 630 Watt 7-Channel Home Theater Receiver
The speaker set is incredibly powerful and crisp clear. Zero distortion and muffled sounds and most importantly no humming when the receiver is on. My living room has very high ceilings and is about 20 by 22 feet and I can hear everything. Again my receiver has an auto calibration feature that measures how far the speakers are from each other and where I am sitting to adjust the power it outputs to each unit.
PS3: Having surround sound definitely helps getting into the video games. I know a lot depends on the title you are playing but take Uncharted 2 for example. I could hear the birds chirping in jungle scenes through my rear speakers and hear the main character through the channel and front speakers vividly. Mix that with Uncharted’s unparallel scenes and the experience was just remarkable to say the least.
With Blu-rays it truly feels like I am at the movie theater. No need to go out to watch movies anymore with these speakers.
Conclusion: The quality and performance of these speakers at relative low price to others make them truly a great value. They enhance the viewing and listening experience of your media. I would recommend them. Next on my shopping list is buying two towers to complete my 7 channel surround sounds and yes you guessed they will most certainly be Paradigm.

Definitive Technology Pro Cinema 60.6 Speaker System (Black) Review
I purchased this speaker system a few weeks ago and I must say I’m impressed. The speakers look nice: they have a clean, black finish, and are small enough to fit almost anywhere. But what really counts is the sound quality. I’m pushing them with a good-quality Denon receiver and the sound quality is fabulous for the price. I went to several stores listening to systems costing much more than the 0.95 I paid for this and there was really no comparison.
The highs and lows have a nice blend. In many small systems you get a separation, with the sub picking up a lot of the mid-range sounds and everything ends up muddy-sounding, but I haven’t noticed that at all with this system. The highs are awesome, and the bass works well both with movies and music. I have my receiver programmed to tweak the sound between music and movies, but that’s just to accommodate my own taste. And when you crank the sound up, whoa! These little speakers pack a nice punch for their size. For what it’s worth, I don’t see how you can do any better for your money.

Cons:
- Wish it came with a wireless module for the rear speakers

Paradigm Cinema 110 CT 5.1 Home Theater Surround Sound System (Silver) Review
Purchased this system two weeks ago to replace six-year old Onkyo HTIB speakers for my home theater room, used for movies (and TV) and not so much for music. (For music I am using a 40 year old Sansui system with JBL loudspeakers. Love them). Onkyo, imho, makes the best HTIB systems. I had been happy but was cognizant of the limitations of the system. I wanted a fuller sound but didn’t want to spend a lot of $$$ or buy large speakers. I had been looking at the Energy Micros but when Amazon offered the CT 110 system in silver for 9 I knew this was the one for me. First of all Paradigm makes great systems and they are made in Canada (not in China). I happen to like the silver better than the black. The sound of the CT 110 is full, dialogue is crisp and clear and the surrounds (dipole) are a steal at this price. The sub does perform differently than the Onkyo (not as boomy – that’s a good thing).
Right now I am using the Onkyo HTIB receiver and I need to push up the volume more to get the speakers to respond. I’ll be looking at an Onkyo receiver in a few months and I am sure it will be a better match for these speakers.
What I deal (imho). Half price, the color I prefer, and a huge step up from my HTIB set – I don’t think you can wrong with this system. I have been jumping out of my seat a bit with some of the sounds coming out of the speakers. I compared the speakers to my HTIB with a couple of movies (Public Enemy) – where Christian Bale is at times hard to hear. The Paradigms did a good job deciphering his somewhat inarticulate utterings during the movie – I could understand it all whereas the Onkyos were unable to keep up. The machine gun scenes were realistic with the Paradigms – very sharp. I then plunked in GI Joe and gave the speakers a good workout. The reports from the gunfire, roar of the machine engines and the clang of the swords were all very satisfying. No complaints.
I talk a lot with a guy who buys high end audio – he has the “upgrade” addiction. I tell him I am sure there are “better” speakers out there – but as long as one is satisfied with the quality one has why look for more? Maybe in 6 years I’ll be looking to upgrade again but for now I am very happy with these speakers.
For the reviewer who was missing brackets and had a problem with the subwoofer – I’d recommend calling Paradigm customer service. The system is covered under warranty (Amazon is an authorized retailer) and being a good company I’m sure they will try to help you.
